On the western side of Naghshe Jahan square, exactly across Sheykh Lotfolla mosque a fantastic tall monument attracts your attention, a six-floor building dating back to Safavid period which is one of the most important political and architectural masterpieces of early 16th century which is called Ali Qapu palace. This building was considered the tallest building of the capital, shone like a gem in Isfahan city center. This gem could be a reason itself for traveling to Isfahan without exaggeration.

Isfahan is one of the cities in Iran which has a wide river in the middle. Zayanderuod river divide Isfahan to northern and southern part. 11 bridges connect these 2 parts. The name of the bridges from east to west are: Shahrestan, Ghadir, Bozorgmehr, Khaju, Choubi, Ferdousi, Si-o-Se Pole, Azar, Felezzi, Marnan and Vahid.
